Finding safe ways to cross the creeks, entrances and rivers is important to make this walk successful, as not all have bridges. The Yuraygir Coast Track could serve as a model – here local boatmen offer crossing services by prior arrangement for a small fee. Another model that could be included for more remote crossings is the use of canoes stored on each side, as on the Bibbulmun and South Coast Tracks.
Any suggestions, general or specific, such as Max’s advice for Currambene Creek are most welcome.
